Uncle Melvin's

Recently met up with some good friends of mine in Bedstuy, Brooklyn. My boy Larry & company came out to visit Uncle Melvin, who's home has so much history. It is there we hung out & spent time picking Uncle Melvin's brain as he picked ours. It was a great experience sharing stories & laughs over a few drinks. Sometimes as young adults we underestimate the wealth of an older generation's wisdom. We learn from them just as they learn from us. Realizing this is realizing that, being open is the key to survival.

  1. That was a Perfect summary for that experience.

The round table was like a meeting of the minds across generations. You can tell we all took something away from the conversations in the short amount of time we had.

  3. The images you took almost tell a story in itself... Uncle Melvin's wisdom is one that can't be explained but must be experienced. He's seen many things and the knowledge he holds is remarkable. I'm glad you were able to join us in what turned out to be a very memorable weekend. NYC is an amazing city and always an adventure. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and images.
